• Hi. I already installed wordpress and uploaded the files to my host. When I try to get into the administration panel, I type in communicom.com/wp-admin and I get the error:
“You are not authorized to view this page.” The web server you are attempting to reach is on a list of IP addresses that are not allowed to access the web site, and the IP address of your browsing computer is on this list.”

I have been trying for the past several weeks to figure this out and I am really approaching the end of my rope.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?
    Thank you 🙂

  • If communicom.com is your site, it returns ‘HTTP Error 403.6 – Forbidden: IP address of the client has been rejected…’ Scanning tools find nothing in your site/ server. I doubt it can be a case of hacking. Please contact your host.

    Krishna,
I actually don’t have a website yet. Do I have to have one before I start wordpress? This is all really confusing to me. It seems like alot of people have problems with wordpress but at the same time you hear alot of good things about it.

What domain name did you use when you installed WordPress?

    O, I forgot.
Does my website (when I get one made) have to be published before trying to get onto the log in page? I put communicom.com but there is no published website yet. That could be why I can’t get in. Can I create a website somewhere else like Wix or something and connect WordPress to that?

    esmi, I used communicom.com but I don’t have a website published yet.

    Have you installed WordPress yet?

I also noticed that you just have to put the URL of the directory where wordpress was installed for the wp-config file. I already configured it the old way. I don’t quite understand where to put that URL because it asks for the database name and 3 other things. This is all driving me crazy. Why can’t this be simple. 😉

Yes I installed WordPress on my host 1freehosting.com, because I can’t really be paying for any of the ones WordPress suggests to use. Free is my way for now.

I want to eventually install BuddyPress because my goal is for a social networking site.

On my webhost (1freehosting.com) it says at the top of the page: “Your domain is not pointing to our nameservers at the moment so services such as FTP, File Manager, Website Builder, E-mail, and others will not work properly.” How can I fix that?

I’m sorry but this isn’t a WordPress issue. Contact your hosts or check their knowledgebase.
