Need feedback (and a link would be nice)

In need of advice! LowerMyGlucose is my first web site and I’m sure I may be doing a lot of things wrong. I created it to help people with prediabetes like I had but I also need it to make me a little money. I don’t think I have come up with a strategy for that.

I started out with banners, adsense, sidebars, etc on my pages and a poster trying to help advised that it looks like a sales page and I may not want to do that so I took them all down and instead have been putting affiliate products and amazon books in my article posts. Maybe some of you can look at a few posts and let me know if this is acceptable.

My site is about 4 months old now, I have posted 18 articles, I am getting 5-10 visitors a day and my page rank is 0! Not very good huh? How do I increase traffic?

Could use a backlink or two…I’m just sayin’
