Ever-changing Background Colour?

Hi,

I’m trying to find a plugin that creates a similar effect to thecolourclock.

I’ve found a java script file here that I think could work.
I’d like to try and create a plugin from it, instead of just adding it into my code, that way others could enjoy it too! However I’ve never created a plugin before, so I’m not sure where to start..

I figured it would just have a settings page with one option to start with: ‘Colourize Background’ (as a checkbox).

If anyone has any tips/suggestions/ideas/help to offer, I’d greatly appreciate it 🙂
