the user name

    You can’t. You can only change the displayed name.

    ok, I thought you could change it in the cpanel.

    If you know your SQL database,
    In Cpanel,
    Go to phpMyadmin.
    Click on your database ie. _wrdp2
    Scoll down to the bottom and find wp_users.
    Click the Edit.

    There you can change your WP User Name.
