Having fun with my first multisite.

Now exploring options for having an image / branding / logo and menu, or a common link bank to the main site from every subsite.

I guess I could create a custom menu for every site, but is there a better way?

    Thanks

You could use a plugin to make a master menu, or hard code it into your theme.

    Thanks Ipstenu

Guess I need to think some more about this…

Ideally, I’d like the subsites to have the freedom to create or upload their own themes & widgest etc. Although, from what I understand, they are limited by whatever I (superadmin) choose to make available?

Is there a way to run the WHOLE site in an iframe or something? I’m thinking about “themeforest”, where you can run demo versions of sites, but a link back to the main site is always visible in a narrow strip along the top of the screen?

The users will never be able to upload their own themes and plugins (and you don’t want ’em too!).

http://wpmututorials.com/plugins/networkwide-menu/ would be a network wide menu though

THANK YOU – I think that plugin is exactly what I was looking for 🙂
    Cheers!
