Email Verification

When someone sends you an email via the contact page (using WordPress), is there anyway you can check to verify the email address they have used before it sends the feedback/email?

I want to stop getting emails via the contact page from people who are using fake email address. Just adding something before and after the ‘@’.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
