I installed, uploaded my Blogger files, and changed my template file to rdc and all worked fine. However, when I assigned posts to a category other than the default, the display goofs out. It stacks the post view on top of the the sidebar view when it is assigned a new category. When I view a post with the default category, it does not do that.

All my catagories are parents. I switched to the unaltered default theme and it still does the same thing. I think it may be associated with the-category(), but I don’t know that much about the code. Any ideas?

  • Without seeing the site (a link would be helpfull)It’s hard to tell what the problem may be.

But a guess might the length of your category names. If they are too long it may push the sidebar below the main text.

    Try shortening them.

I tried that. I made a cat name “test” and it still does funky things. Site is located at http://www.republicanwhore.com.

I fixed the problem. When I imported the Blogger files, they came with a bunch of div tags. I didn’t see them because I was using the mudbomb wyswig editor. When I turned it off, there they were. I deleted them and life is good again.
