Where did my slideshow go?

I am using WP-Creativix 2.4 and only have the Jetpack plugin active. I don’t know what happened to my slideshow but everything I’ve tried hasn’t worked to get it back. I’ve gone to the theme options and toggled the activate slideshow option, no avail.I’ve tried to reset the options to default and it says forbidden. This is my first website, so I don’t know much about these things. Can someone explain in Lamens terms how I can retrieve my slideshow?

I really appreciate your help but it is all a foreign language to me! If you could instruct me step by step on how to resolve this issue, it would be greatly appreciated. At this point I don’t even know where to start even after checking out your informative link.

Your site is working fine for me. Never give anyone admin access to your site unless you have employed them commercially after taking all of the necessary steps. Instead, I suggest you try asking about this on the theme developer’s forum: http://www.wp-themix.org/support/

Yes my site is fine but I don’t have the slideshow that came with the theme, and I’m trying to get it back. Thank you for the advice on security measures regarding access to the site. I am really so new to this that I am learning as I go along and need help.
