Real Simple Share Plugin Shortcode

Hello I’m having an issue with the real simple share plugin.
it works fine as far as displaying but what I was trying to do on a certain post is use the shortcode so that I can place the buttons in a div that i have some information in as well, I placed this [real_simple_share] into my post in the div but it just shows up as the text not the actual buttons… I wasn’t sure if I am to disable the plugin in the custom field area first but I tried that as well and still the same thing, is this even what I should be placing inside of my div area? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.
