Any tips on doing a mass import from a non-WordPress site? I imported all the authors and I’m able to return the correct author IDs associated with the articles. I’m going to be using wp_insert_post.

Sorry for the late reply. Do you have multiple bylines on your old site, or single bylines? If the latter, you shouldn’t need to migrate any data.

The project was delayed a bit but I’m back at it now. The old custom CMS site has multiple authors on several articles. Is there a way to programatically add co-authors while I’m importing the articles with a custom script?

Yep, there is, although they’ll need to be created as users first.

If you need a quick code review on the script you whip up, I’d be happy to take a look.
