WP E-Commerce Weight & Destination Shipping Modules problems setting it up!

Hi Guys,

I have already posted on Lees page but in case he is busy I thought I might post here as well incase anyone else has had this problem and can enlighten me.

Please bare in mind I am a bit slow when it comes to computers and even though i have done a child theme of twenty eleven and know the odd thing or two it takes me a while to catch on.

I want to take UK out of Europe and have it as its own continent. First of all it took me ages to find wp_wpsc_currency_list and region_tax_table and im not sure if i have edited in the right places which may be why my new uk continent is not showing up in the continent drop down in the ecommerce admin.

This what I did- I edited the uk continent in my c-panel in

wpsc-updates/currency_list.php

changed it from europe to uk, made a note of the id

and in

wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/wpsc-updates/updating_tasks.php

I found the id and changed it to uk again. I did this for both uk and great britain.

Im not sure if i have gone to the right place on the last one. If I have done it right then i dont know why nothings changed. I tried deactivating your plugin and that didnt work. I dont use tax on my products so didnt know if i needed to update the tax table but i did anyway. Any ideas?

Another idea i had was to just edit weight/price for the UK country in ecommerce shipping and then edit the weight/price for the rest of the continents. But this leaves 3 drop down boxes in the check out where people can choose there country, contintent shipping or country shipping and they dont need to be there. If they select uk they get the wrong price, if they select uk in country shipping they get the right price and if they slelect europe in the thrid box they get the wrong price. I understand this is a common problem and has nothing to do with the plugin and you can edit these out using css but I have no idea what to write or where to write it.

I fear I havent explained myself very well here. If anyone knows of anyother plugins that will help please let me know. I think there is another shipping plugin by lee but i dont think it is compatiable with the new wordpress version.
