‘home’ should not be used as a WP path, sub-folder, page name, or post title (or slugs or actions etc). Look at custom menus and add a custom link, that link for your ‘home page’ is simply / <====just /
It doesn’t shows up the custom menu. Tried inserting it, but it shows only those links in menu for which the pages i have created. Deleted the home page that i had created and its gone from Menu’s. but still the custom menu with label as Home is present in the menus list on admin panel.
You have WP setup at juvenilediabetesinfo.com/juvenile-diabetes/ and your domain root redirects to this link. So is every other link. I think you should have setup WP at the root. Most of the problems that you face now are because you think that WP is at the root and you try to link everything else to the root. As it stands now, the above quoted link is your home!

Krishna it wasn’t the case you mentioned. I did what is mentioned in the link you gave and the site is gone. its not redirecting me to the sub directory. The site is present in the sub directory but its not redirecting. Changed the Site address (URL): to normal but still it comes with error. Anyone help me on this new issue.

Yeah just going through it. But after i have the redirection done. Will the original issue of not having Home menu be resolved.?
Are you referring to a Home menu item in a custom menu?
