• Hi,

I have checked the box to allow articles to point back to the page within my blog, so that when they appear on the siderbar users can reas a blurb of the aritcle.

However, if they click on that link, I would like the user t obe able to then click on the article and then be take to the full article.

Please can you advise how this can be done.

    thanks John

I am not sure what “box” you are talking about… And when do articles (posts?) appear in the sidebar?
This seem to be some customized thing, so you’ll have to provide a link and give some more info.

    Thanks Moshu,

You can see my site at http://www.all-things-lasvegas.info

Within wordress there is an option to have post point back to the original site or to your own. I choose my own.

    thanks John

I very much doubt that ‘fair use’ would allow you to take all those complete articles and display them on your website. In effect, you would be lifting their complete content would you not ?

this is a plugin that I picked up from this site actually for my wordpress blog. If it is illegal than off course it should not be used.

I shall arrange for the plugin to be removed. By the way, loads of people are using it here.

    thanks for your help

I guess Podz wasn’t referring to the “illegal use” of the plugin 🙂 Using the plugin (redirectify?) is fine.
Having a blog showing articles from other web sites… might be questionable, at least. It could raise copyright issues, too. The fair use phrase was referring to copyright – just google and you’ll have the chance to learn more about it.
