Australia Post plugin not calculating shipping

    I have recently installed woo commerces Australia post plugin as I’ve understood it to be a simple entry level shipping tool for quite a cheap price. Unfortunately it isn’t working the way it should. I have disabled all of my shipping options except for Aus post, and I get the below error message on my site.

    Sorry, it seems that there are no available shipping methods for your state. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements.

    I’m not sure what the next step is, however any advice would be great.

    How heavy are the items? Are you shipping from a regional area?

    HI Ebay monkey. This was posted a while ago. It’s still not working how it should, as it defaults to the smallest box at $6.60. That isn’t even correct as that box is only $6.00 at australia post. I guess that would more than cover any stickers I want to put on, but it doesn’t realise that I can put up to 250 gms in an envelope for 1.80, and 500 gms for 3.00. Even when I change the dimensions to less than the 15 mm. I defaults to boxes. Waste of money, unless you can change my mind.

    I have had a look into and I am sorry no idea – I have gone with Temando’s wordpress shipping calculator now. Watch the you tube shipping calculator It wont be very good for your site though it is more for larger items and satchels. Sorry I could not help

    I also have just purchased the plugin for Aus Post shipping, and get the same message as you did in the first post.
    How can we get someone (like the guy who developed it) to read these posts and help us?

    I have not found a way to contact any one for support.

    And the temando is on hold at the moment due to technical reasons.

    Can anyone recommend another plugin that helps calculate shipping costs, preferably for Australia?

    Hi guys, I am also having a problem with the Aus Post plugin for WooCommerce. It is not calling the rates for Express Post correctly (I’ve checked my site against the Aus Post site). Do you have any idea what the problem could be, or can point me in the right direction of how to find an answer?
