Is this on the site linked from your name ?
Yes, it is. They’re down at the bottom. π
I think it may have something to do with the address of the images? But I’ve uploaded them to the right folder, so I don’t know why it’s doing that.
The images are being looked for here:
http://msadventures.net
/D:hshomemsadmichmsadventures
.netwp-contentplugins/xml.gif
The above is all one line – I have broken it here to show.
Where is the D: coming from ?
http://msadventures.net/wp-content/plugins should be that path.
I thought that’s what the problem was, but I don’t know where that weird bit is coming from at all.
And you’re right, http://msadventures.net/wp-content/plugins is the correct path. Just don’t know how to fix it. π
url to the plugin ? I don’t use it and there are a few subscribe me plugins
http://www.semiologic.com/software/subscribe-me/
I downloaded everything to my desktop, and then uploaded everything to the plugins folder, didn’t mess with anything, I swear, LOL.
Is there a different plugin that I could try, to see if I get the same or a different result?
At a guess you are hosted on a Windows server and one of the variables used in this script is calling something which is using the full path.
I don’t know of another plugin (though one may indeed exist).
You could:
– hardcode each link into your sidebar using the information contained in the plugin
– contact Denis or leave a comment pointing to this thread. he would be able to confirm the error or not and may change the code.
A friend of mine says it may be the “-” in the wp-content part of it.
Might be easiest to just hardcode the links in, as you suggested.
Thank you! π
Yeah, well, my plugins are updated almost hourly at the moment. The likely error was indeed a mishandling of a server-side constant by Windows. I’ve uploaded the latest build. If they doesn’t work, please contact me by email: denis at semiologic dot com
