3.4 themes not showing version numbers

    As of 3.4, the theme picker doesn’t show a version number for the themes. Is this intended? makes it difficult if you install more than one copy of a theme for testing.

    Can you elaborate? Is this when you are browsing installed themes? Or when you’re trying to search themes on WordPress.org via your site?

    Oh, I see what they did. In prior releases in the theme picker, you would see the theme name followed by the version number and then the author

    Now you see the theme name on line one, on the next line is the author and you have to press teh ‘details’ link/button to see the version

    I have to admit that I wasn’t a fan when I first saw the new Themes layout. It looks… unfinished to me but I dare way we’ll get used to it.
