    Hey,

First off I just need to say I’m a beginner at this, so thanks in advance for your suggestions, but please make them easy to understand and detailed!

So I was attempting to change something within the child file I’ve installed on my website. Instructions were to copy and paste a template from the parent to the child and then alter one of the numbers whilst in the style.css area. It did not work so I tried it in the funtion.php (I think that’s what it was called?). I know I should not have tampered but now I can’t access my website or my dashboard. I get this error message, ‘Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /hermes/bosweb/web274/b2743/ipg.doyouwantcorianderwi/wp-content/themes/oxygen-child/functions.php on line 19’.

I now can’t access any page of my website, nor can I access my dashboard/login for wordpress.

It is for the website http://www.doyouwantcorianderwiththat.com (not that you can view anything except the error message)

    Please help!

    Natalie

    I figured it out.

Just deleted the child theme with the file access program and reloaded it.
