I’ve got Multisite and domain mapping working almost perfect, but I have an issue that I just can’t figure out. I have a subdomain mapping to 3 full test domains using sub directories. One of them works and two do not, but only for the index page. If I load the wp admin or directly load a post the site loads fine, but the home page loads a cPanel default page. I’ve compared all the settings to the one that works and I can’t see anything different. One the pages that don’t work I can even change the theme, I just can’t visit the home page. I should also add that I’m using parked domains via cPanel also. Any ideas?

So I figured it out, I didn’t realize I need primary checked under each domain. I’ve got everything working without www which is what is recommended, but what if I need to use www due to client requirements?

Then map both www and non-www and set the one you need as primary.

Or tell your clients it doesn’t matter. Cause it doesn’t 🙂

(The issue is probably with how the domain is parked, and your DNS not having properly mapped both www and non www, though that’s rare for CPanel, it’s pretty fool proof.)

Thanks, it’s all good now. I manually changed it in the DB. I agree www is unnecessary, but some people like to see it there anyway.
