I’ve visited you and left a comment!
Great job!
Thank you very much for your comments, LaBella. They were very helpful.
I will see what I can do about the header.
(The image is actually just the center part, the rest is a backdrop for the whole page…4px-wide, repeat-x)
Maybe having an extra border around the header might make it stand out more…
About the colors… I’m still unsure how to work them out. I like them, but some people find it harder to read white on black…and the red… I’ll have to find a way to make it stand out more, without it being distracting a the same time.
Thanks again,
iso
No problem Iso.
It’s hard work sharperning up a theme.
But props to you for your hard work!
🙂
well… most of the work is gone… bugger.
I wrote over my style.css.
I’ll prolly end up re-designing everything.
Thanks for the support, LaBella. …yes, it indeed is hard to work on a theme… there are so many aspects to take care of and plan.
…especially when it’s your first one 😉
cheers.
I worked on the stylesheet. It should be similar to the way it was before my little blunder.
Thanks for all of your comments.

looks good- one thing I’d consider is tightening the space between the content and sidebar so it matches the space between the header and content…that is if you like uniformity.
good job.
Thanks, cmainiac. I do like uniformity.
That was actually what I would have liked doing. In my v0.726549 alpha-beta-foxtrot, I had actually gotten the space down pat.
I’m pretty new to CSS (about a month), an I’m still having a bit of trouble with calculating width/height+padding+borders+IE weirdness+…
A major reason for me setting up this blog is to learn how to work with…I guess this is becoming quite cliché…but web 2.0, standard, compliant technology. There are a lot of rules and I ‘m still trying to wrap my <bodypart id=”brain”> around them.</bodypart>
cheers,
