Getting the following error when activating the plugin on a multi-site site.

ERROR: Path ../wp-content/connection_images does not seem to exist. Please try deactivating and reactivating Connections.

    …and…

Path ../wp-content/connections_templates does not seem to exist. Please try deactivating and reactivating Connections.

Also, shouldn’t both of these be created inside the plugin directory?

    I appreciate any suggestions.

Connections is unable to automatically create these folders on activation due to server permissions. You have to manually create these folders and make sure they are writable.

These paths are correct and have to exist outside of the plugin’s folder otherwise they would be deleted during a plugin upgrade.

    Thanks for the reply, Steven.

I’ve created the two folders and have permissions set for user and group ‘r+w+x’ but still getting the ‘not writable’ error. Do these folders need to be 777?

    Thanks again.

You shouldn’t need 777. In most cases 755 works fine but in some server installations the permissions do need elevated to 767.

    767 worked. Thanks again!!
