Custom Post Type single page

    Hi,

    Is it possible to have a custom post type that is singular?

    i.e

    Using a custom post type to make an editable home page that would only show edit rather than add new home page once 1 was added?

    Not sure what you mean, editable home page?, a better description of what you want to achive might help.

    1. just use a normal page and set this in Settings > Reading?
    2. different single page layout for a post type?
    3. save page.php as home.php and add in a post query to return only the first custom post type?
