Pages

I added a new page and was creating a list. The list consisted of a

date
event
place
location

a space, then a repeat of the above information. The problem was, when I published the page, my list was scattered on the page. It looked something like this

date
event
place
location

I tried using the numbered list or bullet list, but neither kept everything aligned. I still had a scattered list when published. How do I create a list that looks like one when published?
