Error: Could not set file permissions. NEXT-GEN-Gallery

    I am getting errors while uploading images in next gen gallery using their flash uploader Stated that

    Error: Could not set file permissions.

    Php safe mode is off and I recreated the folders manually using ftp but no luck.

    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Does the built in Media uploader work? I ask because I know how to solve that problem and this one sounds like the same thing. I don’t know anything about Next-Gen specifically, though.

    No wordpress default uploader is working fine.This is the problem with nggalery uploader.

    Does Next-Gen save to the same location as the media uploader? If not make sure Next-Gen’s folders have the same user, group, and permission settings as wp-content/uploads. That’s all I’ve got. Good luck.
