Automagic Acronyms

This is something like what I want. But, it’s not an integrated solution is it? Is there something better out there? If not, anyone willing to make it a real hack? Or, if you’re not really wanting to, just leave instructions on how I can do it 😀
I have experience coding PHP, I just don’t have the time to search through the source and figure out where the action should happen by trial and error.
