• Hi,

I have a photography website, in the main menu I have a submenu under ‘Photography” with Weddings, Portraits, Nature and Commercial.

I have them as 4 categories Weddings, Portraits, Nature and Commercial, so when I put a new post under the category weddings and one under commercial, they both come up when I go to the weddings page and also when I got to the commercial page, am I doing something wrong?

    Please help me anyone! Cheers

  • Hard to see without seeing your site but at first thought, you’re not posting under multiple categories?

No it isn’t under multiple categories, I specifically put one post under weddings, and another under commercial, and yet they both come up under the weddings and commercial pages. I am using the photographer theme by organic themes, and each page has a portfolio template… does shed any light? because I am building the site offline at the moment.

    thanks

Ahh in that case you should seek support through their website since it is a premium theme.

Also doing that too, thanks for your time WP Bum!

This is theme specific, to avoid this issue, do not use parent categories but instead create a custom menu.

@swanson Photos, I have used a custom menu for this

    Thanks
