    Hi Otto

    I’m having trouble for the plug in to work. It gives me this message under Publish Settings:

    In order for SFC to be able to automatically publish to Facebook, it must retrieve and save “tokens” from Facebook. The status of each of these is given below.

    No User or Access Token found. Try re-saving this page.
    Application Access Token not found. Try re-saving this page.

    I have inserted the URL for my Facebook page several times and saved it. Not sure why it does not show up or whether or not it needs to.

    Do you have any suggestions on how to get it to work?

    Also, the blog that was sent out this morning to my subscribers through feedburn found the following e-mail in their inbox instead of an excerpt:

    FB.Event.subscribe(‘edge.create’, function(response) {
    _gaq.push([‘_trackEvent’,’SocialSharing’,’Facebook – like button’,unescape(String(response).replace(/\+/g, ” “))]);
    });

    (function() {
    var po = document.createElement(“script”); po.type = “text/javascript”; po.async = true;
    po.src = “https://apis.google.com/js/plusone.js”;
    var s = document.getElementsByTagName(“script”)[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(po, s);
    })();
    Well, take-out is not on the menu, but it is almost as easy and a whole lot cheaper. One of my neighbors is from India. She has graciously shared some of her recipes with me. The BBQ Tandoori chicken is not only easy and fast, it is absolutely delicious. The yoghurt tenderizes the chicken nicely […]

    Do you think the plug in is interfering with feedburner, or is this a separate issue?

    Thanks for your help

    None of that “edge.create” stuff is in my plugin, so I suspect you have some other plugin (“SocialSharing”?) that is interfering.

    Hi Otto

    I have gone through all my plug-ins deactivated them to see which one interferes. I got rid of the once I no longer use and where deactivated in the first place just to make sure they still interfere one way or another.I still get the message that I have either a “bad java” script or a plug-in that interferes. At this point I’m at a lost what else to do. do you know if someone else has the same problem? Any solutions?

    Thanks

    I have no idea but I can tell you for a fact that this:

    FB.Event.subscribe('edge.create', function(response) {
    _gaq.push(['_trackEvent','SocialSharing','Facebook - like button',unescape(String(response).replace(/\+/g, " "))]);
    });

    Is not in SFC and has nothing to do with SFC. As long as you have that there, then you have something else putting Facebook-related code into the system, and SFC will not work as long as that other code is there.
