Editing Boldy theme for background issue

How you would do that depends on the theme — can you post a link to your actual site?

First see if your them supports custom backgrounds, Admin > Appearance > Background

If it does you can change it there!

If not look in style.css for:

body {
}

Then at the end of the file.css set the color like:

body, html {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #0000FF;
}
#wrapper {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF;
}
