• Worst things first, http://theliberation.net/

Right now, I am completely rehauling the site from Movable Type to WordPress. The new design isn’t too far off from completion but nevertheless, I feel that it would serve more purpose to post it here for your prying eyes before I delcare it finished rather than after. The reason? Well, right now I really am open to suggestions on this one, and as such it seems far more plausible to implement them now rather than when it’s got to the stage where I say “I’m happy with this”. Initially I was going to wait until I could call it finished, but there you go.

The Liberation, for a bit of background info, is not your average weblog. About a year ago I decided that personal blogs didn’t interest me any more, and while theres a personal element (would do better to post this when the latest article wasn’t based on my university choices), it’s more of a new media weblog, looking mainly at music but also at elements of the written word, film, the internet, design, et cetera. Recently I have also started writing a novel (satire about modern retail workers, if your asking) which has helped keep content down a bit. Nevertheless there is some half decent stuff on there.

So yeah. Constructive criticism of the design would go down a treat, if you can spare a few minutes of your day.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I’m likely to be CSS-ing this up a bit and releasing it as a theme (so basically sans images).
