Having Problem with 2 column layout

Hello all,

I’m having a huge issue with a 2 column layout. I’ve spent about 6-8 hours trying to solve this, there must be something underneath that’s preventing me from having a successful 2 column layout.

I can do it with absolute positioning, however, what looks well in Chrome looks off in Firefox in pixels. I was hoping to achieve a perfect vertical alignment of the 2 columns.

I’m using a blank “Naked” template.
