[Plugin: WooCommerce] Product type not changing

    Recently my variable products are not updating and trying to display as a simple product.

    None of the variation data will show up until I duplicate the product and re-publish it.

    In the database the product is showing as variable. Sometimes I can change the product type in the database to simple, save, then change it to variable and it will work. But this isn’t always the case…and I have over 75 products that I don’t want to duplicate and recreate the photo galleries.

    Any thoughts?

    UPDATE: The database contains two entries for each product;

    _transient_wc_product_type_xxx', 'variable', 'yes');
_transient_woocommerce_product_type_xxx', 'variable', 'yes');

    When I update a product type in WordPress, the second entry (woocommerce_product_type_xxx) does not update and I have to manually go through the database and change the product type.

    Since I’m passing this off to my client, I don’t expect him to do this when he runs into this problem again.

    Does the database need both entries for a product, or can I delete one of them?
