Hello, I’ve created several pages (not posts) on my WordPress blog. I have a sitemap, Google crawls my site daily, and lists my POSTS in its engine. However, the PAGES don’t seem to get indexed. Why is that?

    Are the pages linked to?

I’m posting the pages by clicking on “Page-add new” in the WordPress interface.

Yes, but do you LINK to them from your site?

See, Google etc can only find posts and pages that are linked to 🙂 If there are no incoming links, they’ll never find it.

I did not link to the pages from any blog posts. I assumed Google is notified through the all-in-one SEO pack and XML sitemap about any updates; whether it be posts or pages. Is that correct???

Depends greatly on the XML sitemap, and if you added pages to it. The best way is to actually link to the pages (via a menu or a link in a post, or the sidebar etc). Natural link paths 🙂
