[Plugin: Duplicator] Database Creation Failure

    I’m trying to move my site to a different hosting account (same host), I created a new database manually, I entered the details in the install.php but when I try to install I get this message:

    DATABASE CREATION FAILURE!
    Unable to create database “depensesfolles”.
    Please try creating the database manually to proceed with installation

    Does anyone have any ideas? I’m freaking out a little bit 🙁

    All good – forgot that I needed to add the full DB name 🙂

    Hi Ptremblay,

    Awesome! Something to note for others reading this thread. 90% of the time the “Create Database” option will not work on most hosting providers.

    This is because its locked down at a server level. The best way to get around this issue is to manually create the database in your cpanel, and then connect to it in the install interface.
