Four Column Theme Development

    I am trying to create a four column theme similar to the one at http://jacksonrecord.com/. The main column contains a slider of posts, Beneath it are x number of posts within each categories. Columns 1 has bread crumbs for categories. Column 2 has a Featured Post list with more ads. Column 4 has a member login, surveys and more ads.

    I am new to WordPress so putting this all together seems like a major challenge. Any help would be appreciated.

    You might start by downloading a theme with four columns — and look at the coding. The search/tag filter function on the themes page finds 3 themes with four columns. (Or just use one of those themes, making less major modifications…)
