If your theme does not have a solution for it, you will need to install one of the seo plugins, so that you can write a unique discription for every single page, or let the plugin that do for you…
Just to add the original designer added the tag
<meta name=”description” content=” to Header.php, so I know that is one instance of the description tag but I can’t find the other.
If there is just one, so every page should have the same discription – or?

Yes you are correct all pages have the same descripion which as you know is not good. If I install one of the SEO plugins will that allow me to write description for all the current pages, rather than just one I add after installing it?
Also do you have a plugin you would recomment?
I am lead to believe it’s a custom theme.

Yes these seo plugins give you full control of the discription for each page…
Some recommend plugins, the first one is would I prefer to use… it fits all my needs… not to much functions and nice support from the author. Must popular might be the second one…
