if you can access your site cPanel or ftp, you can delete or rename the plugin directory.

I have access to the plugin directory via FTP.
So this is what I should do, just rename the wp-content/plugins folder to something random? such as wp-content/random123?
This should fix the problem, so I can atleast go back in via wordpress admin panel and then I should de-activate the plugin that caused this?
It won’t mess up my other plugins by renaming the plugin folder right?
When you rename or delete plugin using ftp it will be deactivated

govpatel, so I just want to rename or delete the “visitor-maps” plugin folder, located in the wp-content/plugins directory, and not the wordpress “plugins” directory itself?
Just want to be 100% sure, as I don’t want to further damage anything with my site.
Yes if that is plugin that created the problem do not delete plugins folder just the visitor-maps plugin folder which is inside plugins folder.

Whew, that fixed it.
That’s a sigh of relief, looks like everything is back to normal.
I guess I just won’t be using this plugin.
Thanks for your help you guys. 🙂

This is the same problem I have, but I’m much more of a newbie.
What do I do once I log into FTP? What command do I use to delete the directory?
Thanks in advance!
When you log in on right hand box browse to file or folder and right click and you will see options.
