[Plugin: Events Manager] Customize search result

    Hi,
    I am using the wonderful Events Manager plugin but wants to customize the search result page. I want to show all the states of the US in the search drop down box. And on the other hand, I group some States together. For example, I want to group Alabama, Alaska and Arizona together named “Group A”, and group Indiana, Iowa together named “Group B”. So when someone selects Alabama from the drop down box, it shows the events happen in “Group A”, same result for Alaska, Arizona. And when someone selects Indiana, it shows the events happen in “Group B” as a search result. Is it doable? Any ideas?

    First, the search form state/region ddm is dependent on what you choose in the country ddm which is dependent on the events/location; however please check the template file at templates/events-search.php or templates/events-list.ph

    you could edit the file mentioned above to replace the dynamic state dropdown and use your own hard-coded list, provided your names match up with your location state names, then it should work.
