• I recently moved this site to a new host. I created a plugin for this site and since I moved it to the new host, it is not working. The first part works and it shows up on the page like it is supposed to, but then there is a button and it goes to another page (a php page I created as part of the plugin) in a new window. WordPress says it can’t find that page. It is still linking to the correct location and the file is there. I even deleted the plugin and uploaded it again and it is still doing the same thing. It was working last I knew on the old host. Any ideas why it is not working now?

    Thanks

  • Hi there,

I recently had the exact same problem – I moved everything to a new server and suddenly WP couldn’t find things like permalinks.php.

It turns out my hosts had made some change to their security and I had to ask them to make the files accessible… it’s a pain because I have to do it every time I add a site now!

Hopefully your host can help you get this sorted 🙂
