Image Rotator Help Please

Hi there,

I’m trying to set up the script at http://www.alistapart.com/articles/betterrotator/ onto http://www.rapnews.co.uk so that there’s a small advert image rotating beneath the last text on my sidebar.

I’ve managed to follow the instructions including editing the image.ini and uploading this with the rotator.php file.

However, I’m having trouble editing the index.php.

I’m not even sure if this is the file that I should be editing as I want the sidebar altered.

The index.php of my default template can be found at

http://www.rapnews.co.uk/wp-content/themes/default/index.php

and my .css is at http://www.rapnews.co.uk/wp-content/themes/default/style.css

When I download these onto my desktop and try opening them with notepad, for some reason all of the text is in one long line, making things EVEN harder to cope with.

I’d be very grateful if somebody could assist me in doing the index.php (or whateva the sidebar editing file is) update.
