• I don’t know if this is really WP related or not, but my site suddenly has gotten to a state where none of the pages ever finish loading. All the content is there, but the little spinny icon on Firefox indicates that it’s still trying to get more (IE does the same). Aside from the constant “transferring data” thing, the only other problem is that the feeds are sometimes missing, or at least Firefox says it can’t find any when I hover over the the little orange feed icon.

Any ideas? Is there a way to tell what te browsers think they are trying to load?

I have shortstat. Would there be something useful in there?

my site is taking forever to load today… 😐

That’s a long time, I just hope I am around long enough to witness it. How much longer is “forever” than it normally is? In visiting your page, forever is approximately 5 seconds on the first page, .6 seconds on a single post page and 1.3 seconds on the archives page.

Yeah i disabled ShortStat and the actual content loaded alot quicker – there is a problem with the initial loading time though…Once it gets onto usayd.com them it loads the content fine, but apparently its not the DNS or anything its a site problem (or some script running on my site). Any ideas what that might be. I disabled a few plugins still haven’t found the culprit.
