All file premissions 0775 0644. I am the owner of the webspace. All auto upgrades, prior to this point, have worked flawlessly. Here is the erro message:
Warning: copy(/usr/local/pem/vhosts/100551/webspace/siteapps/1806/htdocs/wp-admin/includes/update-core.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/100551/webspace/siteapps/1806/htdocs/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 200

Can’t auto upgrade to 3.3.2. Past upgrades have been without incident. Now I get an error message that reads: Download failed.: Couldn’t resolve host ‘wordpress.org’. I get the same error message when attempting to auto upgrade from Jet Pack 1.24 to 1.3.

@davidmcguffin: Contact your hosts. There may be a file/folder ownership issue.

@bcorley: Your issue is not the same. It is also impolite and contrary to forum policy to interrupt another poster’s ongoing thread with a question of your own. Please post your own topic.

Esmi, I have checked with my host provider. They assure me I have full ownership in that directory. It makes no sense that the upgrades (and plugins)have forever upgraded automatically. Now I’ve upgrade manually to 3.3.2 and have another issue (which I’ve addressed on another post in this forum) with my webspace being blank.
