Looking for plugin to send user-specific notifications

Hi,

is there a plugin that will look into a subsciber’s profile for notification preferences (set up upon user registration via Cimy User Extra Fields plugin) and, anytime a post with matching meta/custom data is published, it will notify the users?

I know this is quite specific and a long shot, but maybe somebody has already done something like this?
