Override theme's image bordering

    Hi, my question is, is it possible to override the bordering of images of my current theme?

    When a image is embedded in my wordpress site and with my current theme, said image gets a border (like this). All i want is to get rid of that border for a single time use. Is this possible? thanks

    Generally, you can change that when you upload an image and there is a window for how you want it styled. Or you can change the styling in the CSS file — but if it’s only one image, it may be more complicated to do it in the CSS file. But unless you can post a link to your site, it’s really impossible for anyone to give you more specific help.

    you can see in the top post that the image has a border, which I want to get rid so that the image “blends” with the white of the post body.

    these styles in style.css are formatting the image:

    img.alignleft,
img.alignright,
img.aligncenter,
img.alignnone,
.post-thumbnail {
	background: #e2dbd1;
	border: 1px solid #d1bfa6;
	...
	padding: 3px;
}

    the wider ‘border’ is the result of padding and background.

    Thanks! all I had to do is add in the “Style” section of the advanced options of the image the following line:

    padding: 0px; border: 0pt none;
