WP Search from External Page

    I have done a search here and found lots of info about external search results within wordpress however I want to go the other way.

    I would like to have a search bar on an external page (outside the Blog directory) that takes a search string and sends users to the default search results page in the WordPress blog.

    Anyone have any insight?

    Well…

    just on a whim I built a form with the action url pointing to the Blog directory url and that seems to be working just fine.

    I feel shame…
