Three post formats missing from list

    I’m using a new install of WordPress, and the video, audio, and chat post formats are all missing. Why are they missing, and how do I add them?

    EDIT: Also, I was under the impression that certain post formats were supposed to add fields, like a URL field for the link format. Is that true? If so, I also need help getting those fields, because they do not appear.

    These post formats are not part of WordPress core and can only be added by your current theme.

    No. What a given theme does , or does not do, with post formats is purely up to the individual theme developer.

    my post formatting is missing too. I updated to 3.5 and plugins, so I couldn’t possibly know what caused it. Any way to get it back?
