ENTIRE BLOG DISAPPEARED

    I need help, my whole Blog is gone. I have been having trouble all night, I accidentally changed a setting I shouldnt have changed, I had another thread on this forum dealing with that problem, and it made me unable to access my blog, it’s been like three hours and I finally got it to stop giving me error messages but now its GONE. As in, WordPress is asking me to SET UP MY ACCOUNT..where are all my posts!? Are they stored somewhere that I can retrieve them!?

    Check your database to see if the data is still there. If it is, then you can likely get your site back. Sheesh… what setting did you change? Ill wanna stay away from that one.

    Okay I’m in the database and all my posts are there….I don’t understand. My posts are all in the database but the blog is telling me to start from scratch and name the blog as if I’ve never signed in before. How can this be happening??

    So, in the Database there are twice as many things as there should be. There are a whole bunch of entries starting with wp_1 and then a similar list of entries under wp_, and all my original Blog posts are in the wp_1 series. What’s going on?

    OK nevermind, sorry for totally freaking out. lol. In the wp-config file there is a line that was specifying wp_ for the prefix, I typed in wp_1 instead and the whole blog came back. I guess I don’t have to kill myself after all.
