1) Turn off Registration
2) Change the user to subscriber.
3) Check your site on http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/scanner/
Also you may want to rename your plugins folder to plugins-old

Thanks for the reply. I have a question. So if I change user to subscriber, then nobody can post an article as an author right?
But also I still don’t understand how someone can post as admin?

Correct. Please try this & monitor the site for a few days to see if this solves the problem.
Bump deleted.
Please be patient with replies. The forum is made up of volunteers, and sometimes we’re busy with the paying jobs 🙂
If you change ALL users to subscribers (except yourself), only you can post articles.
Call me paranoid but for my non-membership sites, I don’t allow any users to register. For guests authors, I post the article for them, which takes me a few minutes.
Then I’m paranoid too because that’s exactly what I’ve always done in the past.
Then that makes 3. Because I do the same thing
