Getting started with WordPress Question

I created a WordPress blog awhile ago and I wish to create a new one but I forgot how to get it started. Once I am able to get into a Dashboard I’m alright creating pages and posts, but it’s getting it started that I’m confused.

I downloaded the most recent version and I have Hostgator hosting with unlimited domains. Where to I take it from there?
