[Plugin: Random Text] Text is not refreshing

Have been using this plugin for quite some time to display customer quotes in a sidebar widget, but at some time in the recent past (not sure when) it stopped working. When you first bring up a page, the widget in the sidebar displays a quote. After a time, the quote disappears, but it never refreshes with a new quote.
