    I had the same issue and after much mucking around in the code I added a value to the widget field – “The length (in days) of the desired time frame” which finally got the posts to display.

    I enter a value for 7 days in the widget field, but nothing showing up :/

    I am in the same boat. Nothing shows up on my site in the widget area. I have tried all of the logical t hings with the interface selects but still nothing after over 5000 post views. Disappointed.
