Allow users to reorder posts

Hello,

I’m trying to add a control to the front-end of my WP website to allow visitors to reorder the posts listed (e.g. Alphabetically, by post date, etc).

Ideally, I’d like a dropdown/jump-menu kind of control, and I’d like the control to indicate the order currently being displayed

Could anyone point me in the right direction of a plugin or template PHP/JS that would help?
